The proud farmers have been at it again...this time PUMPKINS! Cooper is SO proud. I think this year Coop and Ga-Ga's pumpkin patch produced a whopping 5 pumpkins...all PERFECT and living on my front porch. Now, to keep the squirrels from eating them. Sounds weird, I know...our neighborhood squirrels are taking over! They ate an ENTIRE pumpkin!

Sadie's Spill
While shopping and having coffee with Mommy, Sadie got excited and tripped and fell downtown.
Poor baby looked at me like I pushed her!
Ouch!
This is the monkey she picked out at the next store...
retail therapy always helps!

Potty Time!
This little monkey loves to sit on the potty! She is a potty superstar and has pretty much done it on her own! To be honest, I hadn't even thought about it yet. I mean really, why create more work around here? But Sadie Re has a mind of her own! She's big and she was ready to ditch the diapies. She does it for the sitter and pretty much hangs out on her "froggie" potty all evening. We are hoping to start wearing big girl panties this weekend! "I pee, Mommy, I pee!"

First Day of Pre-K!
We are officially in our first week of Pre-K! Cooper has been a champ and transitioned very well. The juggling kids mid-day is quite interesting as well, but we are working through it. He has 2 new friends...Jayce and Carson, who I'm looking forward to meeting at our "potluck" this week. The week they are working on Community Helpers and get to visit the fire station and police department. Also this week they asked the kids what they wanted to be when they grow up. Of course Cooper can't be the norm...Doctor, Policeman, Fireman, etc. What does he want to be? A hunter. Hmmm...wonder where he gets that from?

Miss Personality
Sadie has the biggest personality in her tiny little body. She definitely already has her own opinions and is not afraid to share them! You can tell she has hit the frustrating point when she wants to really tell you about something and just can't get the words out...not yet anyway! But her list of words is growing and growing and she is even stringing things together...I want that, my Daddy, I pee, go outside, etc. We recently went for her 18 month well check and she is in the 90% for weight and the 95% for height...she's getting so big! She LOVES monkeys and usually has one to carry around with her. She also loves her "Bo-Bo" (i.e. Cooper) and rarely leaves his side. We have also been working a bit on potty training...at her suggestion. We'll see how that goes!

Dear Blog,
Oh how I have missed you so. But let's be honest...we really needed a break from each other. Don't get me wrong, I've been thinking about you a lot lately...everyday really. Now that we have been apart a short while, I think we will appreciate each other more.
Okay, so all joking aside...I really have missed blogging lately! It has been on my to-do list each and every day. But with so much going on it keeps getting pushed lower and lower on the totem pole. We have SO much catching up to do! Here some of the things that have made it on my Blog To-Do List...
- New House Tour
- Cooper's First Day of Pre-K
- Sadie and the Potty
- Sadie's Personality and Words = SASSY
- Ryan and Coop's Dove Hunting Adventure
- My Porch
- Jeanna & Derrick's Wedding and Cooper's Play-by-Play
- Sadie's Cadillac Experience
- Sadie's Nose Dive/Road Rash/Awful Owie
- Sadie Re's 1st Hair Cut (this hasn't actually happened yet, but I'm planning ahead!)

Yet Another Coop-ism
5 am this morning..."Hey Mom...can I sleep with you puh-leeaaassseee?" Why I ask? Cooper says, "I have been trying forever to go back to sleep, but my ceiling fan won't quit talking to me!" i.e. The fan was making to much noise. The apple doesn't fall from the tree. Repetitive noise makes me melt down!

Cowboy Cooper
Another funny Coop story. When we were talking about the new house and all things new, Cooper decided he wanted his new room to be a cowboy room. When we were rounding things up and shopping online for bedding, my Auntie Cara remembered she once had a children's saddle. So, she did some digging and some major saddle scrubbing and brought over the most perfect surprise ever! It's adorable and I promise to post pics later, but on to the funny part...
We scrambled around Saturday to have their rooms all decorated and unpacked before they got home. Cooper comes in the house and goes directly to check out his new room. He immediately spots the saddle and his eyes were huge! He says..."I knew it! You got me a new horse too!"
